KINDO SEAT COVERS

Post by hugejp »

Hi Guys...

I recently had to rent a ton of vehicles for a shoot & noticed that all the vehicles had monogrammed seat covers. The covers looked good to me & held up to the crew...

I investigated further & found that they were supplied by Kindo, I tracked the Gauteng rep down to ask about options on the Patrol & this is what she put on the table for us:

"Hi JP

Thank you for your call earlier, nice chatting to you.

Kindo Covers manufactures and supplies a durable range of branded seat covers to dealerships and fleet companies. Our head office and factory is based in Pietermaritzburg and I am based at our JHB office which is in Bedfordview. All stock gets couriered from the factory in Pietermaritzburg.

I have attached one of our brochures as well as a few pictures to give you an idea of what our covers look like fitted. We deal with some large corporate companies - Afrisam, Premier Foods, Super Rent, Imperial Truck Rental & Sasko, Europcar to name a few.

Herewith some general information on our seat covers:

· Our fabric is developed exclusively for Kindo Covers.

· 2 year guarantee on wear and tear and on any fabric or manufacturing faults.

· Covers are waterproof, easy to wipe clean and are fully washable.

· Covers are made to fit each vehicle, hence the snug fit – we do not supply universal seat covers.

· Delivery is between 2-3 days on all stock items.

· Embroidery- we can do your company logo on the 2 front seats of any vehicle. We would require your logo in a PDF format to get the initial digesting done. There will be a once off fee of R150.00 for the initial set up/digitising of the logo. Thereafter and additional R20 –R25 per logo embroidered – this will depend on the amount of stiches in the logo.

I have chatted to the factory regarding the khaki colour. Doug (the owner) will be seeing the fabric supplier this afternoon, he will see what there is available and the min quantity we would need to order. I will send you the info once I have received it.

Pricing - BLACK:

Bakkie/pick up = R1475.00 exc

Patrol 5 seater = R2750.00 exc

Patrol 7 seater = R2950.00 exc

We generally charge a courier fee of R150.00 on all orders under 4 units orders which clearly you will be ordering more than that at one time, therefore no courier fee will be charged.

When placing an order please ensure we have the full model details as well as the year of the vehicle. On the pick-up we would need to know if there are 2 single seats, a drivers and ¾ bench passenger seat or a full bench seat.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need any other information on our seat cover.

Let me know if you would like to meet up with me so I can show you what our covers look like.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Assuring you of my best and personal attention at all times.

Kind regards

Chantell"

I also recieved a follow up on my question regarding the khaki fabric (as at the moment only black is available):

"Hi JP

The factory has come back to me regarding the Khaki fabric. We are able to get locally a spec very similar to ours and can order a roll at a time but unfortunately this comes in more 20% more expensive than our fabric because of the smaller quantity. If we order our fabric which is imported we would need to order a huge quantity which at this stage is a bit too risky. I am sure if the khaki proves to be popular we will eventually look at binging this in.

We will send you swatches to have a look at the colour available should you wish to order.

The prices then on the Khaki will be as follows

Bakkie/pick up = R1770.00 exc

Patrol 5 seater = R3300.00 exc

Patrol 7 seater = R3540.00 exc

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Have a great day further

Assuring you of my best and personal attention at all times.

Kind regards
Chantell"

I am really considering a set of these for one of my GU Patrols, I would love to have the forum LOGO on the covers maybe just the logo without the text URL???

I hope this helps some of our members,as these prices are half of what I paid for other brands!

Cheers

J

This is the kind of logo I had in mind, drop the URL as the text would increase the stitch count & the price!

The quoted prices I believe are forum member prices.

We should also maybe build up a bulk order so that we have buying power for future purchases???

Otherwise I recon if you mention the forum to Chantell I'm sure she will help you.

I believe this price is for the full set: Patrol 5 seater = R3300.00 exc?

Does this includes head rests? What will be the price for only the two front seats with head rests?
Groete/Regards,

George Brittnell
