Why won't an E-Locker Fit ?..... they sell them for Patrol, front and rear.
Regardless though, this is what gives me the absolute Shits when it comes to Nissan and Patrols.
Honestly, for people who use their vehicles and enjoy upgrading/ improving them,...a Land Cruiser is simply a much better buy. There, i said it. Sad but true.

It boils down to the Australian Market. The biggest market for Patrols... and they did not get the OEM difflock. They have a LSD (if my reading is correct). The diff housing is different and thus excludes the fitment of the e-locker to our diffs. If you do not have a OEM difflock you are smiling.
As for LC... if you drove a landcruiser you would be herd mentality and putting in an ARB anyway

I have LSD and not the OEM difflock, so there is hope for me at least...

I would say your best option is to give Ronald Hairbottle of 4x4 Traction in Polokwane a call and discuss the options with him?
Agree, I also did sent him a mail earlier today to see what he can recommend for the rear diff, will post here when he responds. (prob. tomorrow ).
Response:
"Daar is net ARB Air Locker en die Chinese HF locker beskikbaar vir die H260, of dit nou 34 of 37 spline is.
Vir die H233B met 33-spline, kry jy ARB Air Locker, Chinese HF locker, asook LockRight, TJM Pro Locker en Eaton E-Locker.
Ons het ook nou ’n supplier vir low range gears opgespoor."
Have been warned off the Hong Fong Chinese locker by two people now. Mike Swann and Cape Transmissions who had installed one and were battling to get it to work correctly.

It is indeed available!
I gave up on the Nissan locker's endless problems and fitted an ARB many years ago. It's engages instantly, has never given me a day's trouble, and I now have a backup air compressor to inflate tires in case my primary air system should fail
