I saw you also had some problems with yours. How is your Patrol doing now? You mentioned in your post of the oil usage, is it better?
All my problems happend in about 13000km's, i got mine on 232000km's and its now standing on 245000km's
You got it, its was the same problem. I will have a look at the altitude compensator when i put everything back together. Thanks for the info.
My cradle is ok thanks, thanks for the offer. I only noticed that it had a bend at the left, bottom of the light behind the bumper. Only noticed it when i took the bumper off and radiator out.

wow that really is bad, those crank and cam bolts are really well rounded and would need to be replaced with OEM ones if possible. Cant believe someone would mess up an engine like this with such bad workmanship, it looks like they tried to use a hammer and chisel to loosen the crank bolt?

Ja die goed lyk maar erg nog klomp ander klein goed ook wat ek nou nie als af geneem het nie
Ek het al by Nissan pryse gekry vir die boute ens, dis duur maar as mens n bout of twee nodig gehad het was dit ok maar nou is daar so klomp opgebogger dit raak nogal belaglik. Na ek die prys per bout gekry het het hulle my toe gesê ek kan van hulle nie apart koop nie ek moet die stel koop, bv die tappet cover boute is iets soos R68. 00 n bout en R60.00 n wasser ek kort 3 van elk maar nou moet ek n stel koop van 12 boute en 12 wassers. Flywheel boute sou ek elkgeval n stel koop dat mens nie ou en nuwe boute meng op sulke belangrike goed nie, dink hulle was R170.00 elk en hy vat 7. N exhaust manifold nut is R80. 00 elk en jy moet die stel koop, een van myne is sommer n m10 nylock nut en die ander almal verskilende soorte manifold nuts. Ek sal bv sulke tipe nuts by n bolt en nut plek koop maar sekere goed moet die oorspronklikes wees.
Dankie Wilkie ek sal met jou gesels, dit klink na o opsie vir van die parte, is dit n Patrol zd30 of Hardbody sin?
Ek moet sê ek is net bitter dankbaar die goed het nie heeltemal fout gegaan dat ek nie weer tuis kon kom nie. Ek was Maart 2016 met hom Sants Maria in Mozambique toe en as ek geweet het die goed lyk so hrt ek nie errs om die blok gery nie. Al wat fout gegaan het in Mozambique is die gemodifyde aircon pyp het by die pomp begin lek so hy was leeg in omtrent 5 min.
Ek moet sê as mens nou van al die foute ens vergeet is ek nog beindruk met die diesel verbruik, sleep vermoe ens.
Op my eerste trip van Rustenburg na Bloemfontein vol gelaai met n wa en n kar op het ek 8.3km/L gekry, terug met die egr pyp af gebreek het ek 8.1 gekry. Ek het gemideld 8.3km/l van Rustenburg af Santa Maria toe en terug gekry, hy het gesak na 6.3km/l vir amper 200km se sand ry. Dit was ook stamp vol gelaai maar sonder n wa.
