When I bought the vehicle it already had a leaky steering box. It seems to be getting worse.
The steering play is good and the steering function is fine, its just leaky. I imagine there's an o ring or gasket seal under the lock ring that's knackered. Is it that simple? anyone fixed this before? tips?

Re: A leaking steering gearbox problem
Yip, there's an o-ring.
There should also be a copper washer there.
Looks like you can just remove the nut assembly and replace the o-ringThere should also be a copper washer there.
