Radio Programming Day 15 July at Base 4

Post by iandvl »

I had a bunch of radios to program on the dyno day which didn't happen.

Dirk made a big effort to get Jan's ueber secret LFR UHF configs from him. Chris also helped.

So, in the interest of getting the stuff done this time prior to River Trip, let's pick a convenient date and time, and get this done. I am relatively easy in terms of when (although I am off to Moz in the first week of July). So, please pick a date and (convenient) location and let us make it happen.

Edit: Updating information on first post to highlight when / where:

When: 15th July, 2017
Time: 09h00 to 13h00
Where: Base 4 Lapa (http://www.fwdcsa.co.za/base-4/map-to-base-4/)
What to bring: Obviously, your radio. Unfortunately, we only have the lapa area. If you want something to eat or drink, please bring along with you.

1: Ian
2: Dirk - Bafoeng 666S
3: Tinus
4. David - 2x Bosvark
5. Michael - Zartek ZA-705
6. Fordguy - bosvark & Zartek 758
7. Bosvark (Radio only owner elsewhere)
8. Andredurand - 2x Zartek

Great!

Thanks for the willingness to assist Ian

I am on the River trip first week of July as well, but after that no set plans yet, few guys are getting new radios in the next week or so it seems, think we should look at mid July to do this.

Just a get together with maybe a braai??

Right - how does the the 15th or 16th July sound to all ? If people are happy with that day, I'll update the thread title and we can make it happen. Venue wise ? What is easiest ?

If I were to invest in a built in radio for my Patrol, what would you suggest and where? :helpsign: :blonde:

Hi Ian

I cannot make that time, as we are away on Bots trip then.
So I will make need to make another arrangement with you for my radios.
