Belt tensioner

OK so my belt tensioner op die 3l diesel het weer gegaan, het reeds die bearing (koellaar) op die ou een vervang maar vind dat die "tensioner" se busse uitwerk en dit is die rede vir speeling en dan glip die serpentine belt van die waterpomp katrol af. (net een van die 7 kepe, maar een is te veel.)

So nou is die vraag gaan die NP300 se tensioner ook op die patrol werk? wil graag by Nissan 'n draai meek en gaan kyk, ook wil ek by Master parts 'n draai maak om te kyk of hulle 'n vervanging het? Dink dit sal madliker wees om 'n np300 se onderdele te kry as 'n patrol sin!

Wat is julle oppinies?

PS. die koellaar op die katrol is uniek en sie SKF sin is 'n m te klein of te groot so ek het vir die te groot gegaan. Lyk of dit werk.

Ek weet nie of die Hardbody die selfde een op het nie het ook gewonder, maar ekt gesien daar is baie verskille op die Patrol se zd30 en Hardbody sin.

Waarna jy ook kan kyk is die " clutch pully" op die alternator. Hy werk soos n fiets se kok agter, hy draai vry as jy hom antikloks gewys draai as hy reg werk, as hy stukkend is dan kan hy nie meer vry draai nie dan veroorsaak hy dat die belt spring wat hom ook laat afklim.

Ekt vergeet om te noem, ek het ook n ander laer gekry, hy was bietjie smaller as die oorspronklike een, dink 3mm.

Phillip, I saw on facebook (zd30 warriors page) that someone has replaced the auto tensioner with a manual tensioner. Not sure exactly how they make it work, but I dont think it can be too hard. The tensioner on the ZD30 was not the best design in the history and it seems like a common problem.

Here is a pic of the manual tensioner, hope it helps

Ja myne werk ook uit. My vorige een het toe die onderste ring gebreek waar die bus in is toe het ons n stukkie aluminium pyp onder vas gesweis dat hy net kan werk tot ek n ander een kon kry.

Michael,

That can work, found the tensioner at Master parts for a tad over R1000 incl VAT :biggrin: Nissan is closer to R4000 :surprised:

Will give that idea of the manual tensioner a go as it seems easy to manufacture.

Daai lyk goed, ek wonder net of hy nie n mate van demp moet in hê omdat die alternator daai clutch pully op het nie. Al die voertuie met n "dampner tensioner" wat ek al gesien het, het n clutc pully op hulle alternator.

Ek het my twee ou tensioners bekyk gistraand en gesien ek behoort van die boonste helftes so manual een te kan maak. Hulle het so staal pen wat van bo na onder deur die veer gaan, as mens skroefdraad op hom sny en mens las hulle met n coupler nut en lock nuts kan hy werk. Ek sal bietjie kyk of mens n links om draad tap en die kry wat daai pen se grote is.

Dit is darm n baie beter prys as by Nissan, die parte is belaglik duur. Ekt gistraand gekyk en ek dink daai plastiek om die busse is te sag vir daai druk wat die veer op hulle plaas, dalk sal vesconite beter werk. Sal julle sê as ek iets kon uitrig met dit want ek moet myne ook regmaak, ekt op een slag nou n klomp stukkende goed op my Patrol.
Hoop jy kom gou reg.

Dewald, ek dink nie die auto tensioner en die clutch pully hou verband met mekaar nie. Die Navara en Pathfinder YD25 het almal clutch pullys, maar Nissan het vir hulle manual tensioners ingesit en hulle werk mooi.
