Re: My '98 GU 4.2 TD
Anthony, I fabricated the entire exhaust myself.
I used the 76x2mm mild steel pipe, 10mm laser cut flanges and butt weld 90deg bends.
It was a bit of a process of in and out of the vehicle, but it's actually really easy to do yourself.
Michael, if I had to take a thumb suck, I probably spent about 110 hours fabricating everything and spinning spanners on the vehicle.
Not to mention all the grief I took from the wife & kids

Here's what a 19 year old (original) clutch with 247000km looks like.
Pretty impressive it's never been changed since the car was built !
Check out the heat marks.

Re: My '98 GU 4.2 TD
Got a new clutch kit put in today so now I can start tuning the boost and fuel after I bed the new clutch in.
I had the Valeo VPH NS20 clutch kit fitted, and I know it's not as good as the genuine Nissan kit, but the price was a no brainer !
Nissan clutch kit - R5600
Fitment at CBS (2 day job) - R2900
That would have totaled R8500
I had it done at East Cape Clutch & Brake services for kit and fitment of R4560 !
These guys are machines ! Took under 3 hours including the flywheel skimming !
Impressed with their work. They are Valeo agents.

Re: My '98 GU 4.2 TD
A little bit of Friday flex
Would have tried for more, but the ramp wall starts where my front bar is at that point and there's an open manhole less than 500mm in front of where the front passenger wheel is
