Agreed! The General Grabbers are awesome, but compared to the BFG KO2? Reputation goes a long way when deciding to spend R 14k +

Check the load rating
3750lbs / 80psi

Same as bfg & cooper...

I have always wondered if there is any correlation between load rating and mileage given by tyre. Especially on a heavy vehicle like a patrol.
Maxxis got a lower load rating and some patrol owners has complained about getting low mileage on them.
Dunlop mt2's i got on my bakkie also got a low load rating and they are wearing pretty fast..
Maybe coincidence... I wonder?

Sounds like the X3 is going to be too expensive in my opinion.
Only reason I went for the MT is because of the price and the specs.

I will get a price from our HIQ dealer to compare.

Just spoke to HiQ regarding the X3, Continental does not have a price or availability on the 285/75/16, but the 33x12.5x15 is available for R2,851 and they do have stock
