The 4.8 auto uses a special tipe read on your slamtray you have to buy from nissan

Ek sien Dex III is 'n ATF? So indien ek nie genoeg het nie (het 1.5 liter), kan mens met GL4 75w90 vol maak?
Of sal 1.5 liter genoeg wees? kon nie 'n direkte antwoord kry op hoeveel nodig is nie, maar het errens gelees dat 1.5 genoeg is... (maar is nie meer seker nie).
Dis seker te laat vir my om nou hieroor te wonder, aangesien ek nou besig is om die transfer case olie te dreineer... :lol:

(het op ausie patrol forum errens gelees dat dex 3 beter werk indien mens auto locking hubs het, gl4 beter vir manual.... maar ja, sal nie weet nie... kan nie nou die link kry nie..en het werk om te doen :wink: )

PS. dit wil voorkom of my transfer case oor vol was. toe ek die boonste plug los gemaak het die olie begin uit loop..(en redelik baie) :think:

And a GQ would use same oils as a GU?
(Gearbox, transfer, diffs...)

Ek sukkel nou weer (5 jaar later) om hierdie in die hande te kry. Autozone witrivier het net Indy oil se 75w90 gl4....
