Jaap dit kos so R5,800 vir die hele sisteem as ek reg onthou.....kan met n R100 of R200 uit wees.

Dis nogals baie werk om te fit. Ek vra so R1,600 omgewing om te installeer.

More Jaap ,

Ek;s skoon jaloers op daai 4.2 genoiet hom in die rooisand!

Indien jy 'n "normaly aspirated" diesel het sal ek nie eens boder met 'n MADman nie, maar as daar 'n turbo op is sal dit voordelig wees. Die 4.2 se turbo gee nie so baie moelikheid soos die 3l sin nie, waste gate turbo as ek reg is en al wat jy dan wil monitor is die EGT's net sodat jy nie die motor te hard druk nie en dit kan jy met 'n baie goedkoper instrument doen.

Ek hou ook van die water en olie temps wat jy dophou op die MADman ondat dit baaaaaie vinniger reageer as die paneel gemonteerde temp meter.

My 2c anders geniet daai olie brander!!! :mytwocents: :salute: :biggrin:

Jaap reël n naweek by jou skoonma laai die kar by micheal af dan maak ons uit en kyk wat ons kan doen reël net lank voor die tyd ....die 4.2 diesels staan tou daar :rolling: :rolling:

I agree, it's a pity though that it didn't already have one in fitted, and a possible reason for concern too. I would check what the EGT's are showing for a few weeks of driving. If the EGT's are hitting over the 650 deg C mark ( pre turbo ) often and easily, then I would be a little concerned on how the piston tops are looking. These motors are very robust, and can run on 600deg C for a fairly long burst, but not 700 deg C or more.
