'95 GQ 4.2D Silvertop - SALE RETRACTED
Update:
Hi All
Decided to retract the sale. Been driving her a lot over the last two weeks and really enjoying it - purrs like a tiger and loads of character. And it would be sacrilege to part ways before I take her on a proper overlanding trip or a trip with the club.
Looking to pimp her up with bigger tyres - so if anyone has a set of 32's or 33's at a good price, please let me know!

Hey All
Alas I may have no choice but to part ways with my GQ (Y60). Parted ways with my gf, and so too her extended family (which is why I went with a 7 seater in the 1st place), and the beast is too big for just one.
Still in two minds of course, and maybe I need to go on a trip with you chaps sometime soon to get me to see the light (or maybe to find a SWB GQ to swap with!)
For now, I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a valuation on mine. And if someone makes me a good enough offer, I'll seriously consider it.
I'd bought it from only the 2nd owner of the vehicle (still in contact with him) - with a FSH. It started life as a 4.2 SGL petrol (like all SA Trolls) but previous owner had the 4.2 shipped in from Japan and swapped at a Nissan dealer.
In the nearly 2 years I've owned it, I've fitted OME Nitrocharger Sport suspension, 2 Pirelli Scorpion ATR tyres (with 95%) tread still, and a new alternator. Did 2 services, using Delo 400 oil (Wearcheck oil analyses passed with flying colours).
Specs
1995 4.2D SGL manual with about 266000km, 7 seater (cloth), 4x4 + difflock
Full OME suspension+lift, Safari snorkel, T-Max 8500 winch (never used), dual battery system, roof-rack
Cheers!

Re: '95 GQ 4.2D Silvertop
Odo reading. The secondary reading was the km's i got on a full tank - about 74l. That seems like very good consumption doesn't it? About 11.9l/100km or 8.4km / l
Esp. considering it was home work home driving - about 22km's each way - with quite a few stop/starts and a very long uphill.
I don't usually get a chance to drive her much so never really worked it out before
