Dirk,

The problem you will have with the GQ brakes is as follows,

The correct brake pads to order from power brakes is Safari pads. As this was the first series of Patols they did borrow a number of parts from the Safari. With all the extra accessories as compared to a Safari, the brakes were never the best. The master cylinder was replaced just before you bought it fro me and was fitted by GTECH.

With the larger tyres and extras on the Patrol, the brakes were going to be the weakest link but were adequate. Your petrol patrol did not have all the extras and hence the brakes would be better.

Ek neem aan jy praat van jou agter remme, daai part nommer is agter blokkies vir die stasiewa.
Jou bakkie vat dromme en skoene agter, maar ek glo nie jy gaan dit oor die toonbank kan kop by Midas nie.
Jou beste opsie gaan wees om die skoene en dromme in te stuur na n "break & clutch rebonding" plek dat hulle dit vir jou oor doen :thumbup:

Ek is nie seker van die bakkie nie, maar ek glo die voorste pads is dieselfde as die stasiewa sin

Die bakkie vat ook fdb1577.
Hulle het eers fdb4229 vir my gegee, regte nommer volgens hulle manual. Maar was te klein...

R778 vir die pads by midas gewees. :thumbup:

Ek het al vir 'n ou by 'n spares shop gese hy moet my die tweede ding gee, die een wat hy my sou gegee het nadat ek terruggekom het met die verkeerde een wat hy my die eerste keer gegee het....
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.
