Re: GQ brake pads
Dirk,
The problem you will have with the GQ brakes is as follows,
The correct brake pads to order from power brakes is Safari pads. As this was the first series of Patols they did borrow a number of parts from the Safari. With all the extra accessories as compared to a Safari, the brakes were never the best. The master cylinder was replaced just before you bought it fro me and was fitted by GTECH.
With the larger tyres and extras on the Patrol, the brakes were going to be the weakest link but were adequate. Your petrol patrol did not have all the extras and hence the brakes would be better.

Kry mens ferrodos sommer by midas?Michael wrote:Dirk, as far as I know you can only get those anti rattle kits from Nissan. You will not regret fitting Ferodo, I anstalled them front and rear a while back and my abs actually kicks in with the 33" tyres so I am very impressed.
My bakkie se briekskoene is gedaan...
Ps, hierdie korrekte ferodo part nommer: FDB1455-PLA?
