Alex met die River trip het ek gemiddeld van 110 gery en so paar gedeeltes 120-130km/h en dit was ook met die dubbel tent en 4 persone sonder probleme so ek kan darem by 'n Defender bybly, toe ek egter van Bots terug kom kon ek nie 95 ry sonder dat dit gevoel het of die voertuig die pad wil verlaat nie, het die rooftop afgehaal en nogsteeds was die Patrol nie wat hy moes wees of waaraan ek gewoond was nie.
Ek het gedink my skokbrekers het dalk die gees gegee en toe ek dit laat toets het het ons gesien die sway bar is los, skokbrekers is nog 100% en nadat sway bar weer mooi vas is ry hy weer soos hy moet.
Ps ek het al 150 met die Patrol gery ma dis nie waarvoor ek hom gekoop het nie en ek is op my gelukkigste teen 110. As ek 200+ wil ry verkies ek maar die motorfiets daai is groot lekker vir my

Nee verseker, ek dink nie dit is "cool" om te spog hoe vinig mens met 'n 4x4 kan ry wat reeds 'n lift in het nie.
Ek bly ook gemaklik eerder by 110. Ek het nog nie verby 160 gestoot nie, en wil ook nie.

Peter, my front anti-roll bar very much out of whack due to the lift kit. If you were to make me a set of these disconnects that is 2" longer than the standard parts, I'd definitely also place an order...
PS: I know the breather lives on the LH side of our Y61 front axles. Do you think it would need some extra length due to the additional flex that will become available with these disconnects, or is it close enough to the centre of the axle not be much of an issue?

Christo, it is my intention to cut the links individually for each car. Even then, it is both adjustable, and easy to change as it's just a piece of threaded bar.
The maximum droop is controlled by the shocks. The worst-case scenario for both breather and brake hoses is with the whole nose of the car lifted, as it is on one of those lifts with the four pads that are adjusted to fit under the chassis, or the type of lifts they use in tire shops (but not the type where you drive onto tracks which are lifted.
Any flex situation will stretch these hoses etc. less, thus, if you are fine in that situation, you will be fine.

Me too...
But I had disconnects on the Jeep and found that disconnecting one side is better. That way there is only one side connector to flop around and you don't have to worry about securing the swaybar out of teh way either.
From my experience with the Jeep disconnects may I give some constructive criticism? Tough, here it comes anyway
Have the disconnect only on one side and they disconnect at the swaybar. You then have a place on the chassis where the free end of the connection rod attaches using the same clip.
