Re: Y61 GU adjustable drag link wanted
Update: i currently have 11 sets of tie rod ends in my possession (brand is Femo).
The steering damper brackets are complete and in my possession as well.
The machine shop have sourced material for the tubes. Now they just need to cut, thread and drill them.

Re: Y61 GU adjustable drag link wanted
The machining of the tubes will be finished tomorrow.
I'm just not sure if i will be able to collect tomorrow as we have a "team building" excersise...
But i should be ready to supply 11 sets by next weekend.

Re: Y61 GU adjustable drag link wanted
Sorry guys.
Murphy has invested himself deeply in this project.
On monday i collected the half-finished tubes and the taps from my contractor in order to complete the tapping at home.
This was quite a job,but is now complete. However, the left-hand joints are either all slightly over-size or the left-hand tap is slightly under-sized, but effectively the left-hand joints are too tight in the tubes.
Now i need to buy a thread restoring file, chuck them up in my lathe and work the threads until they fit properly.
In the mean time, two sets of rod ends had both joints in the packet left-handed and had to be exchanged, and i bought the wrong bolts and nuts for the brackets...
Deliveries will start soon, i promise.
