1.6 Ton unbraked axle for trailer.
The reason why it is of interest here is that the stud pattern is the same 6 stud as our Nissan's.
Distance between inside of hubs is 1 725 mm.
Make an offer or trade etc... You know how it goes.

Re: Trailer axle
What do you want for the axle? I'll ask a mate of mine if he is still looking for one.

Re: Trailer axle
Questions:
1) Are those studs for the 1,5 or 1,25 wheel nuts?
2) it looks new .. how much has it worked?
thanx
oompie

Re: Trailer axle
Studs are 1, 5 mm thread but the same 6 stud pattern as the Nissan. Had Hardbody 15" mags on.
This is a real make me an offer scenario as although having an axle like that made up for that stud pattern costs almost R 3 k with the normal stud pattern it is only R 1, 5 k and there is a very limited market for this stud pattern.
Hence my reasoning for advertising here first as if someone wants to use Nissan wheels on a trailer this would be perfect provided the width is correct.
Oompie it has done less than 10 000 km in 3 years and although a 1, 6 ton axle has never had more than 400 kg on it including the weight of the trailer. Some of that mileage has been on very rough terrain and hence the reason for the overkill.
Wanted to use it on my new boat trailer but was 50 mm too short and I don't believe in modifying axles so bit the bullet and had the correct one made.
