Awesome tyres please keep as postedDustin wrote:
Being launched in SA this month.
Limited size options available as they will be fully imported.
Full size range will be available next year when full local production commences.
I've already planted the seed with the big wigs to bring in 285/75 R16 , 285/70 R17 , 33x10.5 R15 and 33x12.5 R15 saying that there is a lot of interest from the Patrol forum
Let's see what happens.
The import models will have Red lettering and the locally produced tires will have White lettering.

Re: 15" rims
Ek dink dis die beste tyre vir sy prys en meer..Michael wrote:Ok so I have done quite a bit of reading on the net and more people are in favor of using 8j rims with 33x12.5x15 as apposed to 10j rims.
Reason being that the sidewall is more protected (I think Peter mentioned this) and also you can run the tyres more deflated without it de-beading.
I have sort of made up my mind and found a set of 8j rims that fit and my General Grabber MT tyres are on their way.
I don't think its the best tyre on the market, but it at least sports a 3 ply sidewall and 16mm tread. It does unfortunately not have white writing on the side which I think looks very cool.
Best part is the price, but hopefully its not one of those "goedkoop koop is duur koop" scenarios....
Any opinions on this?

Re: 15" rims
@Dustun, as far as I know the Grabbers that I am getting looks just like the one in your pic. I have also checked on the generalgraber.co.za website and the 33x12.5x15 is already available?
@Wilkie, ek het n stel A Line 15" x 8j rims gekry wat my caliper clear en wat mooi gaan werk.
Soos Dustin se is die 285/75/16 nog nie beskikbaar nie

Re: 15" rims
So finalky I fitted my 33x12.5x15 tyres and rims yesterday and I am very happy with the results.
So far the Grabbers feels very good and the 3 ply sidewalls seems like it gives the tyre some more oemf
Load bearing 1,000kg max
Max Pressure 350 kpa
