Re: Towbar
Hi David, I'm interested but I have no idea on value and whether it will fit my 2005 4.8 GRX. Will those in the know please advise?Mini Patrol wrote:Towmaster rated to 1,6 ton off '98 4.5. Ideally I would like to swap for a Patrol 16" steel rim but highly unlikely so what offers?

Dankie Boet - As long it was your rear bumper.Tinus lotz wrote:Dudes.....i was working on my rear bumper ...sorry it does fit we used one to modify johannes van die see se towbar that just comes from recovery point but only rated 500kg ....you might have to extend where the ball comes on but the rest is the same
Bruce - It seems it will work with possibly a spacer/drop plate and Ian de Villiers may have a rim from Danie so when he lets me know I will let you know how much. The transport to Kimberley will probably be more than the Towbar.

Happy to supply a few beers in PE. Transport is going to be k@K to sort out, but I have recently sent a spare wheel cover and roof rack to Rahul in JHB via Time Freight Logistics. Would you mind sending me the L x H x W and kg of the towbar? I'll get a quote from the Time Freight website to see if is viable. They can collect from your place. I'll work on Midrand for now, but will you PM me your collection address?
Thanks Bruce

Re: Towbar
I will duct tape the loose parts to it tonight and measure and weigh. More likely to be charged by weight than volume. Also maybe ask Tinus. He has a contact for everything.
