Fanus, what is the verdict on your LSD oil change. Is it working now?

Weet nog nie, wil eers die tweede oil change doen voor ek hom gaan toets. Sal dit miskien vandag doen.
Maar sover kon ek nog nie n verskil agterkom nie.

As jy albei agter wielle oplig en die een wiel in die ronte draai en die ander agter wiel draai in die selfde ronte - as jy hom byvoorbeeld voorentoe draai en die ander wiel draai ook vorentoe en nie agtertoe nie dan werk die LSD.

Dis wat ek gereeld toets op my Safari! :thumbup:

Fanus laat ek jou nou so stap vir stap verduidelik hoe om n Beperkte Gly Ewenaar te toets
1)sit bakstene voor en agter jou plat anna se voor wiele
2)dompel die regter agter wiel op todat die wiel in die luig is
3)maak seker die voertuig is in neutral
4)maak seker die voertuig se nood rem is af
5)neem verstelbare Wring sleutel en stel dit op 100 nm
6) neem no 21 "socket" en kyk of jy die wiel se moere kan torque :think:
as jy dit kon reg kry werk plat anna se LSD ....... :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
maar as die wiel draai terwyl jy torque .............. :helpsign: :helpsign: :helpsign:

ek hoop dit maak sin

Nog nie gedoen nie. Is vandag af, so hopelik sal daar tyd wees later vandag. Moet eers nelspruit toe gaan om paar dinge uit te sort.

Was nelspruit toe en terug, het toe vir amper twe uur rond gery baie draaie, sirkels ens om die plate te laat werk en die olie mooi warm te kry.
En toe strip ek die diff plug toe ek ding probeer los maak. Weet nie hoekom het ek die ding so styf vas gemaak nie...

Sal maar later weer probeer...

Of die lsd nou werk of nie, ek kan nog steeds nie die cross-axle hellings(wat ek met die 4.5 doen), met die bakkie uit ry nie.

Is daar 'n spesiale tool wat jy erens kan koop om daai vierkantige boute los te draai? Ek kry die een op my ratkas nie los nie en wil nie die socket inforseer nie.

Jy het probleme Fanus......

If I was you I would have changed the bolt when it was out the first time, but thats water under the bridge and doesn't help your current situation.
Worst case you can force in an allen key socket and weld it onto the bolt. the heat will also help to get it loose :thumbup:
