Sub Tank Light and fuel tank cap not tight

Post by AndriesS »

Posting this as a note, sometime ago my sub tank light came on, I got the manual out to check how to read the codes but in the same time frame I also noticed a fuel smell after driving. Luckily the first place I checked was the filler cap (Sub tank) and it was loose- most likely not tightened by the fuel engineer the last time.

Long story short, I did not check the codes and disconnected the battery to reset and the light has not come on again.
