Ja die nuwe diesels se intervals is balaglik ver uitmekaar uit. Die nuwe Iveco trokke se oil changes is 120,000km uitmekaar uit......true story

Maar ja die ou kool stove is maar baie services, 5,000km of 7,500 stretching it

Michael, kan nie onthou of ek al gevra het nie..... met die dat die 4.2 2x olie filters het, op die 5,000km diens ruil jy filters en olie of net olie? Met die 10,000km weet ek altwee defnitief??

Ek ruil elke keer die filters.
En ek sien my lugfilter is weer vuil n slegs 5k km's, wat my laat dink dat die snorkel errens lek. Olie kolle op die filter.
Is dit moontlik om n lugfilter skoon te maak sonder om dit te beskadig? Ek is nie regtig lus om weer n nuwe een te koop nie. Hulle kos byna R500 by ni$$an..

Het maar met kompressor skoon geblaas en ergste olie met kwas af geborsel... lyk beter maar nie perfek nie.
Ek het gehoor mens kan 'n lugfilter met petrol was, iemand dit al probeer?

Dirk, ek ruil olie elke 5,000km en olie + filters elke 10,000km. Ek dink nie dis nodig om filters elke 10,000km te ruil nie.

Fanus volg maar net al die pype, daar is drie solenoids by jou fuse box wat klomp pype het. Begin by jou vacuum pomp en trace die pyp van daar af.

As jy jouself wil bederf, haal jou EGR af en gooi daai gemors weg..... jy gaan baie minder pype in jou engine bay he en gaan beter kan sien wat aan gaan

Ek kan sien waar die pypie by die solenoids konnek, (soos op foto wat ek gepost het), maar kan nie sien waar dit aan die ander end ingeprop moet wees nie. Dit is lank genoeg sodat dit errens by die diesel filter uitkom.

Wat is die doel van die egr?

EGR is vir emmissions, geen positiewe ding vir jou engine nie. Dit staan vir "echaust gas resurculation" en dot doen presies wat die naam se. Dit sit weer jou exhaust gas terug in jou intake in om die onverbrande gas weer te verbrand.

Dis n stupid sisteem en het n paar negatiewe gevolge vir jou engine soos warm lug in jou engine in (hoer egt)
Baie soot buildup in jou intake manifold en valves
Dit roof ook van jou brandstof verbruik as jy coast.

Blok hom af of nog beter verwyder hom heeltemal.

Daai pypie het niks met jou diesel filter te make nie. Dis n vacuum hose
