Re: Wanted: Patrol Wheel Nuts
Ek het 3 by ni$$an bestel teen R150 elk. Niemand anders kan die goed verskaf nie. Was al by tiger wheel, nuts/bolts shops etc.
Het gehoop iemand het miskien spaar wat rond lê. Wishfull thinking, ek weet.
Kort ten minste nog een, maar soek spaar aangesien van die wat ek het se draad nie meer so lekker lyk nie. Alhoewel hulle nog werk.

Re: Wanted: Patrol Wheel Nuts
Fanus - I found 3 X 1,25 mm RH thread in my box of goodies - Are definetly not original Nissan.
2 are shorter (I think for mags) and 1 longer (I think for steelie but will also fit mag).
Measure the inside length of your existing nut/s and let me know so I can check what will fit before sending.
I can probably also get you extra's in the morning if you want.

Re: Wanted: Patrol Wheel Nuts
The other thing you can do is go to your local Midas and get a set of anti-theft nuts. They will have as they also fit Honda and Nissan cars. I nut per wheel and problem sorted and they can't steal your mags.
But do not tighten the anti-theft nuts to 120 Nm like the other nuts.

Thats an idea. (anti theft nuts.)Mini Patrol wrote:The other thing you can do is go to your local Midas and get a set of anti-theft nuts. They will have as they also fit Honda and Nissan cars. I nut per wheel and problem sorted and they can't steal your mags.

At the moment I got 4 open nuts on the one wheel. (same as patrol pickup steelies nuts).
But there is definitely less thread between the nuts&studs with these compared to when they are fitted on steelies, or when compared to the wheel nuts with the shaft.
The full length of the open nut's thread is not being utilized, wich is a concern. The anti theft nuts might have the same problem.
