Building own Rock sliders

Post by AJ Dup »

Hi Guys

I want to build my own rock sliders and need some :helpsign: from you guys I want to build something like this
Image

and the brackets like this
Image

Tjaart, are you not worried that you'll get "hung-up" on those flat bar braces running vertically down near the chassis brace,i fear it may catch?. I must say that i really like your sliders, its a simple design and i like the slim bar work which hugs the body nicely. Russ

Check out the DIY rockslider kit from Uys (Stofpad4x4)

http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/sho ... hp?t=53843

Don't know if he's designed one for the Patrol but I love the pre-fabricated parts that you just weld together.
