So I serviced the carb with a kit. Chuck the ford air filter pan and installed n small pancake filter. Cleaned the plugs. Adjusted the gaps. Checked the oil. Found the dipstick telling me that theres almost double the amount of oil needed in there
Drained it off in increments to the correct level. I reconed thats where the exhaust smoke came from at high revs. Topped up the brake fluid. After all was done I took it for a spin. It pulls beter and refs more smoothly, but not there yet. Got her up to 5500rpm in fourth gear. Dont trust the speedo yet.
Smoke seems to be gone after a long hard drive. But then....... I experienced the death wabble on braking. I thought ahh hell now Im gone. Totally out of control. I went off the road and just let it be.....
Eventually it stopped. Phew scary. Ha ha ha. So that needs sorting. Any tips on where to look first will be apreciated. There is also a noise comming from the rear. Not a grinding noise but more like something rubbing. And gearbox wines. So any recommendations on that will also be apreciated
