Howzit wilkie, i am not sure yet. The brakes is very poor. So I'll have to go through the system and see whats up. I was asking cause I might end up needing spares for the booster and wanted to know if spares are availible. Do you have a spare booster?

So I had some time to fiddle with the safari. It does have a 38 weber. So now I must just find a service kit for it and also what jets sizes are correct for it. The plugs are also wrong.....
It seems like the choke works on water temp. Is that correct? I also need a new carb foot piece. The current one is cracked.

Josh, the 38 Weber choke does indeed work in conjuntion with water pipes, it has a bi-metallic spring that operates the choke as the temperature varies. If set correctly, it works brilliantly. The air correction jets were 210, I don't recall what the mains were. Had this carb on a 3L Capri, and several Granadas. Never a problem.

Josh, I may still have the Haynes manual for the Granada, which would include the carb. If you want, I can look for it after the 20th.

Hi Matt. Thanx for your reply. I got a nice sorted 38 weber carb from Boogyman. And a couple of pointers. I also got an adapter plate from Dawid. So it seems I am sorted. I will keep you posted.

Josh .. hallo. I THINK they are still there .. not too sure but in Pretoria Church Street, next toe the "Lion Bridge" is/was a Carburator dealer. They specialise in WEBER .. but I got THOR's refurbish kit for the NIKKI Carb from them .. and not expensive either. [THOR being a 4,2 Petrol Patrol]
LOBO was converted to fuel injection way back .. the Weber got me stuck on a steep incline with the float chamber running empty
