Im glad you found the source of the problem Paul

Dis jammer dat so ding jou nou moes tref......strongs

Good day.
I can get a ZD30 from a 2010 hardbody.
The engine is turbo but not intercooler
Would this engine fit in my 2002 patrol and would it be a beter option as to repair my zd30?

Jip, n diesel werk anders. Meer fuel is meer hitte, so as jy rook sien moet jy versigtig wees.

Idle a petrol and it heats up
Idle a turbo diesel and it cools down
Right?

I know I used to do this with my ZD30 too.
But does this apply to all modern TDs?
The Toyota D4D drivers that I know of don't bother with this practice anymore.
My dad was one. He bought a Fortuner new, and never even got this advice from the dealer.
