Hi Joshua,
Thanks for the info. It looks great. I ended up never installing a ladder and this one seems perfect for my needs. At what shop did you buy your ladder?

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
I bought it from front runner directly. They are in Kyalami joburg. But I am sure any 4x4 accessory shop wil be able to get you one.

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
That ladder looks very lekker - should be fairly easy to make one out of steel tube and have it powder coated....

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
Guys, Peter's ladder is a win. I've had it on my roofrack for a couple of years now and regularly make good use of it - those of you who came on the river trip would have seen it; this is what it looks like.

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
Yep that does look awesome, but with the awning on one side and the rooftops on the other I don't think it will work for me

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
Dirk,
If you want I can measure the frontrunner ladder on mine, then you can check if it will fit on the GQ. I am almost sure it will.

Re: Ladder for Roof Rack.
I have teh small door ladder like JoshJ and while I don't go swinging off it, the door seems solid enough for it.
My dad made up a ladder for the Jeep roofrack that hooks on the edge of the roof rack and then has a piece at the bottom that rests on the rubber of the rear tyre. It slips under the roof rack when not in use.
