Ek het 'n EMS2 wat ek wil verkoop. Ek het dit in my 2.7 gehad met 'n VDO olie druk sensor. Sal more soek in die garage en foto's opsit.

Got a quote from VDO(torreparts.com) for a mechanical gauge, but I'm not sure if this one is ideal to use as a turbo boost gauge?

Nope thats not the right gauge. A boost gauge will only go up to about 2 bar, with increments in between to show accuracy

Just remember that for a turbo diesel, you don't need a boost gauge that shows vacuum. :eureka:

Fanus, as jy n boost gauge kan kry wat net tot by 1 bar of 100kpa kan meet sal dit perfek wees. Ek het baie lank gesoek en moes maar tevre de wees met een wat -0.5 tot 1.5 bar meet......
Soos Stefan se, die diesels het nie vacum op idle nie so jy het dit nie nodig nie

Betaal mens duurder vir 'n gauge wat vacuum op het, want ek sien vdo doen 'n boost/vacuum gauge wat tot 1.5 bar meet?
Of sal die gauge nie in my voertuig werk nie? Alternatief het hulle 'n mechanical gauge wat tot 3bar meet, wat bietjie hoog is.
