Got a quote from VDO(torreparts.com) for a mechanical gauge, but I'm not sure if this one is ideal to use as a turbo boost gauge?JoshJ wrote:And a normal boost gauge is good. Auto gauge or VDO. all work well.

Nope thats not the right gauge. A boost gauge will only go up to about 2 bar, with increments in between to show accuracy

Just remember that for a turbo diesel, you don't need a boost gauge that shows vacuum.

Fanus, as jy n boost gauge kan kry wat net tot by 1 bar of 100kpa kan meet sal dit perfek wees. Ek het baie lank gesoek en moes maar tevre de wees met een wat -0.5 tot 1.5 bar meet......

Of sal die gauge nie in my voertuig werk nie? Alternatief het hulle 'n mechanical gauge wat tot 3bar meet, wat bietjie hoog is.
