Yes, but if I may interject, Cedric could have blown down much more, but gracefully allowed me to break my winch-virginity instead.
Thats our story anyway.
  .... absolutely Alex....

Yeah I did have my tyres a little harder than they should have been. I was probably close on 1.4 bar, but figured that I can always take air out the tyre, which is easier than adding air in if we go over some very rocky sections.
When Alex came charging down to asked me to try out his new winch, I knew this was something he has been wanting to try. And a winch is something one hardly ever gets to use, cause our Patrols are so capable.

Thanks Alex !!

Wat ek probeer vasstel is hoe capable is ons lorries soos hy van die vloer rol sonder lifts en after bumpers

Shalom
n patrol met standaard suspensie sou nie enige probleme he om die trip te doen nie. Daar was n paar met standaard suspensie iirc.

So the 4.8's left the turbo diesels standing in the drag races in the sand??? Interesting :rolling: :rolling: :blonde:

I would hope that the petrols would beat the diesels in the sand.... this is where you boys shine!!

But Michael did give Tinus a good run for his money ( oh.... and a good dent in his petrol consumption )

Well mr Ian.....the fact that the only petrol that was racing against the diesels was an AT made gave Tinus a bit of an advantage, and when we did a running start drag race it was not that easy to leave the diesles behind.

I think Tinus needs to give his opinion on this

Only the autoboxes.
I had the same problem as the diesels.
Gear changing and digging into the sand.
