Nissan OE coil spring placement need help
Are there any good 4.8 Grx samaritans out there that can have a look at their cool spring placement for me? I need to know what coils go where by looking at the front coil which has 3 painted dots on it and let me know which side it sits on. Same for the back , please check which one has the 2 painted dots and let me know what side it sits. All 4 coils are different as they all have diff part numbers so it's a mission to fit the correct spring unless you go by the color dots. If you buy the springs new the left rear spring is r3000 but the right rear spring is r2000? And it's opposite for the front, r2000 for the left and R2400 for the right.

Re: Nissan OE coil spring placement need help
Fitted a set of 4.8 OE coils a couple of weeks ago. The longer coils go on the right. The larger diameter coils at the back and the smaller diameter at the front.

Thanks Josua, this will be great. my patrol leaned about 2 cm to the left in the front and I ended up swapping the rear coils around and now its perfectly level and looks great but I just want to make sure its right by checking with the dots on the springs to someone who know where they go as went we took them off they looked exactly the same except for the dots.JoshJ wrote:I have a set of OE coils at home. Sorry for the late reply. The one with the purple dot comes on driverside. These are both rear coils
