Toilet paper is not
It is better to be burned than to be put into the soil. In fact this was a general knowledge question during the 2014 Bridgestone Fundi.
Just don't light it up too soon - until you are quite done, that is. The methane gasses (from you know where) is very flammable.

Is anyone aware of biodegradable toilet paper yet?
High time for such an invention.

Briljant!

'Strafdop' to anyone coming on to the river trip without biodegradable toilet paper.
Much prefer this to burning the paper. Much safer....

Alex you just nominated yourself to buy this as I don't think every vehicle wants to purchase 48 toilet rolls!!!!!!!!!!

We will buy from you per roll :oldtimer:

If you want to be "fancy" - I can get these little paper flags with wooden sticks like the Americans wave when they do this campaigns on the movies and we can all mark our little -exploits-.

Wood and paper is degradable QQQ

Dirk, as you could probably tell from our recent trip to Buffallo gorge, my wife(*) is very envrinomentally conscious, and the amount of 'number 2', of 40 vehicles, times 3 or 4 passengers, every day, is going to be quite a pretty pile of ....hmm...
So to add to that the paper, all in seperate holes, that will all be washed down stream next summer...
It will make my trip more acceptable if I have gone the route of envrironmentally friedly toilet paper.

* I am not permitted to use the acronym SWAMBO.

I judge not :oldtimer:

But I must be honest that I just don't see everybody going out and purchasing a bag of 48 rolls each - so if you are willing will you get us a bag and then we can "distribute" to everyone there as it will be something like R5 a roll so I don't see anyone having a problem forking out a R5 coin if we ask them nicely...

And you score some brownie point with the - better half-
