So Oellie replaced passenger side wheel bearings this weekend after Rivier trip bush fix and I am once again a happy man :blonde:

Small front bearing was still in very good condition but the big one is the one that gave problems and did some damage to the seal due to loose nuts :surprised:

Where able to fit one new nut in the front as supplied by Nissan (also replaced both washers), but had to use the old nut in the front as the new ones where to big in "circumference" to fit the hub.....

Damn - is one dirty job QQQ

Sorry Tinus

Vergeet om te paste!!

Inner and outer wheel bearings and hub oil seals for both sides for only R476 for my Patrol from bearing connection in JHB :surprised: and to top it all it's the right size as well.
Do anyone or know anyone that ever used this type of bearings on a vehicle ? (FBJ bearings), the sale person says it's good bearings but I'll be the test dummy and let you guys know how I find the bearings.

501349/10-FBJ R57.02 exl vat (Bearing)
33110XJA-FBJ R135.97 exl vat (Bearing)

Thanks Ollie !!

Does the bearing have the rounding on the outer race already or did you have to machine it?

Cedric, from what I have read Oelie says it is ready to fit just like they are. I have ordered the same bearings from our local bearing store in my area and will give feedback once I have them.

What models will these bearings cover.

I had to pull into the Sani the other day to pull wheel bearings tight as I had a little play. I also have a leaky driver side Berfield.

I pulled a shim out of each kingpin bearing in January to tighten things up a little. This helped a lot, but I feel guilty not doing anything to this diff and all its bits and pieces and I just bashed it in right off the truck into the Sani when it arrived from Cape Town, and heaven alone knows how long it had been standing there.
