Well done, I dont like dash work.
Hat off to you. I rather fit a big engine in a small space, but dashes not for me.

Eish guys, sorry to hear about your dash troubles. Is this a common thing. At what age does this start. Will a dash cover help. Like the escape gear ones.
Being alive is a Blessing!!

Hi Josh

Die is n probleem op van die ouer karre (dink 2001-2005) Iemand sal wel kan se. Jou kar behoort reg te wees. Ek weet Nissan het dit uitgesorteer.

On my 2006 4.8 facelift it has also bubbled  I have put a dash cover over but thinking about getting Graham to take it out (about R2000) and getting it recovered (about R2200)

Ian, with a bit of a possible fight at the agent you might come right with a factory fault claim. Get hold of Mark White Nissan, mention that you belong to the Patrol forum ( so they know you know what you are talking about ) and see how you fair that way.

My Patrol se heater lek en ek wonder of die dash afgehaal moet word om by die heater se radiator unit te kan uitkom?

Hi Cedric, think I may have had a chance with Nissan if they had carried on servicing the Troll but it was only serviced with them up to 150000 the last 50000 was done privatly

Ian, give Mark White a call, they are aware of the Patrol forum, and have assisted a few guys here. The dash issue will have no reflection on any service that may need to take place, If you don't come right with that route, then send an e-mail to me with your grievances regarding the dash etc, as well as all communication between ALL relevant parties and forum and let's see if I can then assist. But unfortunately you need to go the standard route first via a Nissan Dealer.

Save yourself a lot of bother - go to LeatherTec in Pretoria North - they did mine, and I think also Tinus for around R1200, if I remember correctly - I found Nissan to be a dead end. :oldtimer:
