3 days 3 camp sites

Post by Cooper »

Last weekend.

My choice Limpopo River Lodge, Molema is just as beautiful and wilder but not as close to the river and here you can drive around the reserve which is not allowed at Molema.

Thanks for the post Jason - Limpopo River Lodge looks it might be nice for a quiet weekend in the bush - I like the self drive aspect - I googled it and looks like a good selection of game and birdlife as well. I dont like overly commercialised places. I see its 510 km from Joburg -
Would you recommend it for approx 3 days with a rooftop tent?

Hi Chris

Since it is that far three nights would probably be better than two.
The stands are level so a ground tent could save you the hassle of folding your tent away when you want to go for a drive,
but even if you do have to pack up no one can take your stand because they are allocated.
There are six stands with private amblutions, one through four will probably be the better ones.
Enjoy!
