Hi Guys
The modification to fit the pollen filters on our Patrols is possible. (Make a difference not only on fan life but car interior stays cleaner and air quality is better).
Through us the initial modification is R900, thereafter it is just the cost of the filters on servicing.

That is good to know!
I still think in my case it is a bearing as in everyday use the blower remains silent.
Just on hot days and if it is used for a long time in high speed, it begins to screech.
To me that indicates a bearing problem as just dust would always make noise - I think.
