Bande is General Grabbers 265/75 16 - Daar is nog so 20 000 + op hulle [en n spaar stel met omtrent dieselle]
Die spaar is "as new" omtrent nognie op die pad gewees nie.

Ja ek sien ek is maar lekker deur die dinges hier, die enjin is in die hoof opskrif. Ek sit net met ander forum lid en hy vra my toe, en ek skryf/tik net :redface: .

Hy is eintlik op soek na Safari/Patrol in diesel, maar het paar "issues" aangesien dit sy DKW voertuig gaan moet wees.

Ek gaan later sommer nog a thread begin met paar vrae vir die manne wat weet.

Oom Mac, ek sien jy het nuwe headlights op die GQ gesit, waar het jy gekoop en moes hul enige nuwe gate boor om dit intesit. Ek moet defnitief my ligte vervang

Hi Jules -- Tsessebe se ligte is standaard H4 [niks met gloeilampie te doen nie - hoewel hy die H4 lampie ook vat] Semi sealed beam -- Ek moes bestel by MIDAS
Tjek net dat dit vir linkerkant ry is en dat links en regs liggies is -- NIKS te sny of aanpas nie -- skroef uit, sit die veertjies trug en skroef trug --
Op LOBO het ek Golf I se ligte opgesit -- daar moes ek nuwe gate maak en aanpas -

MAAR LOBO lig 10 keer beter as Tsessebe [en hulle het selfde gloeilampies in .. 100 watt]

Jules,

A simple way of getting better lights into the GQ is to get clear lenses. You can get them as they are imported for the defenders. I got a set from Assegai Trading in Cape Town. You can then get a set of night breakers etc and have great lights.
