Window rubber Replacement

Post by Russ Kellermann »

Hi guys,

Anyone know where i could possibly find a window rubber replacement unit for passenger side, mines torn.

Nissan Toaki in CT want R1100.00 for one, which is totally freakin ridiculous for a piece of rubber 80cm long.

If anyone know where there's a patrol breaking for spares or knows someone who can supply let me know ASAP, shot.

Russ.

Russ, sorry can't help you on the rubber. Hope there is someone who can.

On this point of spare prices, surely there is such a thing as a consumer watch dog?
Owning a particular brand of vehicle means that the distributer of parts have a captive market - which is now being abused?

Being able to charge ridiculous prices due to a market being captivated is something that had been adrressed in other fields of the economy

Pro Auto
Rubber products and mouldings
CT Rubber

None of these okes carry anything for Nissan Patrols.

Just cannot believe that they would charge R1100 at Nissan. Land Cruiser part like this wold a couple hundred bucks.
