Patrol 4.8 Belts

Post by NISMOnator »

Hi Guys,

I am considering buying some belts like the power-steering belt, fan belt and air-con belt. Is it necessary to do this and keep them if you do need them? Is there some other parts I should look into buying for the 4.8? :helpsign:

Thanks

Dankie Tinus,

The reason for posting this thread was to obtain information on belts that we might need to keep for future maintanance. Main reason is, when I bought my Patrol I took it to Graham Cummings and he told me that if I intend to keep the vehicle for a long time that I should get powersteering belt?

I dont no if this is a problem with the Patrol or if these parts might become non available in future that he menstioned it. So I thought that this could shed some light on it?

I purchased the belt today from Nissan and paid R273.

Thank you

I bought both multi V-belts from Midas. Was no issue to get hold off.
Can't think why Graham would have insisted on it.
