IRONMAN 4X4 Snorkels
Hi Almal,
How do you guys rate the IRONMAN Snorkels? Apparently they are very close to the SAFARI ones?
Considering getting one fitted.
Thanks

Jacques,
Quality is paramount for this type of extra, and I would suggest go for the Safari model. My partner at LA Sport Centurion can help you. Contact Herman at 012 653 8834

Re: IRONMAN 4X4 Snorkels
Morning,
Just got my new 4.8 Patrol yesterday, fitted with a Ironman snorkel. My question - the interior of the engine bay where the air pipe goes into the fender is in front and the snorkel on the outside goes through the body on the back end of the fender. Are the two connected inside or nor (piped???)? My old Potrol (4.2SGL) is aligned - the snorkel goes through the fender directly inline with the airpipe / duct in the inside of the engine bay.

Re: IRONMAN 4X4 Snorkels
Dawid, it's easy to test:
Just put your hand over the snorkel's mouth with the engine running.

Re: IRONMAN 4X4 Snorkels

Re: IRONMAN 4X4 Snorkels
Guys, don't laugh! Is there anyway that a person can test the operation of a snorkel without out having to drown the vehicle?
Just curious and paranoid that maybe its not water tight?
Thanks
