Re: What Seat Covers?
I have Takla, there price seem cheaper than M&M but adding headrests it works out to the same. If you want to check fit etc, please give me a shout. It's on a GL which has slightly different seats but will give you and idea of it

Re: What Seat Covers?
I have sommer el cheepo at Makro R550 in July 2007, it is those green & khaki colour , you also get in black & gray. Not n tight fit you pull via strings but believe me after 4 years the fabric is still 100% , the two backpockets clips broke but to replace them very cheap.
Expensive seat covers in my opinion is a nice to have not a urgent need article , like a fridge, bullbar, rocksliders, bashplate etc, etc. Just my

Hi Chris, We've got a little one (6 months ) and this makes travelling etc a bit challenging. We're still talking about it and might go.

Gelukkig het ek leer sitplekke ( sagte leer ) en ek geniet hulle en wil nie covers opsit nie.

Re: What Seat Covers?
My GRX's has nice beige leather seats which are are so light in colour as to be impractical so I have a set of Escape Gear seat covers which fit snugly, are hard wearing and more practical for my purposes.
M&M are great but all their stuff is expensive (I know where it is made and at have an idea of mark up from when I worked in retail), Jackalberry use hardwearing ripstop canvas in similar grade as to military tent canvas - their fit is not as snug but they will be durable.
Regards,
Peter V

Re: What Seat Covers?
Campcover unfortunately do not do seat covers - they refered me to Escape Gear.
So far I have found that the Takla, M&M and Escape Gear are roughly the same price of 5k-5,7k depending if you add headrests.
Takla have nice features with pockets for phones, passports etc which sounds quite nice. JakalBerry is a bit cheaper. Still considering my options....

Re: What Seat Covers?
My wife has just started making a set for Mammoth. She is a rookie but got holfd of a industrial sewing and embroidery machine.
She is experimenting with the materials. Will practice with canvas first as it is not so expensive but has managed to get hold of a supplier that can provide material equal to M&M material. I will let you know how it works out if we do not end up killing each other with the scissors.....
