In the middle of a longer trip. So had the time in the karoo to check odo against road markers. I get a 10% under on odo. So I now multiply the distance by 1.11 to get true distance. With this factor my fuel consumption moves around the 12 to 100 mark. Slightly under or over depending on wind direction. This was at a nice constant 120... so, quite fast for me but with an offset front cross wind from the front.

Seems nissan has very poor QC on speedo units...

Dag Maats.

Ai is ek verheug om die stukkke blye nuus met julle te kan deel. Ek het onlangs n Ford Ranger 3.2 4x4 gekoop by n vriend van my. Nou goed di feit dat ek die Ford gekoop het is nie die blye boodskap nie, maar hier volg die blye boodskap. Die Ford het air suspension in gekry agter gefit deur n sekere handelaar. Maar dit was hilux lugsakke gewees en nie vir n Ranger nie. Die gevolg was dat hulle geskeer het. Ek het toe onthou dat ek iewers op die forum gelees het van Rugged 4x4. Gee toe vir my Vroutjie die opdrag om hulle te bel, aangesien ek in die Noord Kaap is. Dadelik het Riaan met vriendelike diens die volgende dag uitgekom, gekyk wat verkeerd is, terug gery Boksburg toe, en die regte Ranger parte gekry, en dit nogal so gedoen dat ek glad nie vir die parte hoef te betaal nie. Magtig dit gebeur nie meer met ons mense nie! Die rede vir my skrywe is twee ledig. EERSTENS? Riaan baie dankie jy het werklik goeie diens gelewer en jou eerlikheid gaan van jou besigheid n sukses maak. TWEEDENS. Dit is nie die eerste keer dat die forum vir my goeie mense en antwoorde stuur nie.

Maats ondersteun vir Riaan, eerlikheid is min in ons besigheids wereld. Ek het net vir sy arbeid en petrol betaal.

Riaan nogmaals baie dankie, ek waardeer jou baie
