Ek het die uitgawe gesien.
Die werk onder die enjinkap lyk baie netjies.
Ek dink persoonlik dit is bietjie voorbarig van die eienaar om te reken dit is die kragtigste Cruiser in die land.
Die Lexus v8s met superchargers maak almal 300kw of meer.

Hy wil ook gaan toer met die kar.
Ek is nou juis op die punt waar ek begin dink dit is dalk wys om speelkar en toerkar nie dieselfe kar te maak nie.
Die speelkar werk baie hard, wat sekere komponente vinniger bring by vervanging (soos my clutch).

Ek dink die eienaar praat van n cruiser enjin waarmee die voertuig uit gekom het.En ja hy was al 2keer Namibia toe met die voertuig.Gewoonlik vergelyk mens appels met appels.

Dan vergelyk ek seker maar 'n "Granny Smith" met 'n "Golden Delicious"
Want 'n Cruiser is dit nogsteeds.

Dit is dan seker die kragtigste Cruiser met native enjin en aftermarket turbo in die land (om spesifiek genoeg te wees vir vergelykings)?

Dit was nie duidelik vir my of die twee trips na die ombouing was nie.
Dit is ook nie regtig van belang nie. Al wat ek se is dat ek nie 'n voertuig met 'n after market turbo vir my toerkar sou wou he nie. Die turbo is nie regitg nodig vir toer nie (ten minste meestal nie), en betroubaarheid is jou grootste prioriteit in daardie geval.

Die voertuig loop al langer as n jaar met die enjin. So ja die twee 2ritte na Namibia het plaas gevind na die enjin gedoen was

Errol, ek reken jy kan, maar dan het mens die dissipline nodig om nie die lepel te vinnig te diep te trap nie.

In 2012 het Nico Pienaar (toe nog die Nissan klub se voorsitter), Koos se klim probeer ry met sy 4 liter Navarra (dit was ook ge-gasflow). Ek weet nie hoeveel nie, maar hy het baie krag gehad (definitief meer as die 4.8s).

Toe hy begin spin het (moontlik te stadig begin), het hy net meer en meer krag toegepas en net meer gespin, tot ons almal 'n nare klank hoor van staal wat "snap". Hy is stadig agtertoe, terug op die grond, an later hoor ons sy agterste diff het gebreek.
Met 'n korter wielbasis as die Navarra, en meer responsive enjin, reken ek hy kan ook om "tip".
