Hm. I'm not sure I would do it anymore (I have also hauled big things out of ditches with my Land Rover). It puts huge strain on the transmission and drivetrain.

It will not do anything on the Patrol because it is the strongest 4x4 vehicle.

I was impressed at the composure. Diff lock on and mild deflation on hard pack, and when the truck turned his wheels and got himself bogged the first pull, wheels kept turning they just went down. I bet the torque convert was red hot though.
