How long utill the 76 LC, 78, 79, 70 gets off the market?

That seems to be the last bastion of solid axles...

Unless you view a Jeep Wrangler as an overlander. I don't.

I thought that the 70 series Land Cruisers have had independent front suspensions for quite a few years already and only the rear is still a solid axle and leaf sprung at that?

That would be the 200 series (gx and vx) and the 100 (vx) - All IFS.
The 100 gx (also known as the 105 series) was SFA.

The 70 series is the retro designed boxy shape models which is still SFA. The bakkie version is popular among North African terrorists.
Skilpad, Shortie, Toro & Masewa

No, I know what the 70 series is. I was just under the impression that somewhere along the line they had made it IFS but clearly I am mistaken then.
