Re: Urgently Wanted: GQ front brake pads
Hi Gents,
For interest I got a quote from Power Brake for Discs and pads, they only supply for the front not the back. Correspondence and pricing from them below.
"For the front brakes on the 1996 Nissan Patrol 4.2 Petrol (Y60), we produce our All terrain Series brake upgrade kit. The kit consists of a pair of (front) Powerbrake All Terrain Series high-performance slotted discs as well as a set of (front) Bendix Heavy Duty matched high-performance brake pads that have been extensively tested by us to provide the maximum performance and durability, when used in conjunction with the discs in the kit, on the car in question. The kit will offer strong, quiet, fade-free braking and excellent disc and pad life. You can expect a substantial improvement in brake performance, with far better fade resistance during emergency stops or mountain descents as well as improved wet weather braking. In terms of durability, you should get very good disc and pad life. Our kits utilize the standard calipers on the vehicle and fitment is as simple as a normal disc and pad change. There are no modifications to the vehicle."
"Pricing:
Powerbrake - All Terrain Series upgrade kit (front AT discs & Bendix Heavy Duty front pads) - AT306N11257HD @ R3414.30 incl VAT. (currently in stock)"
Delivery cost in PTA/JHB R79.80 and coastal areas R171.00
Cheers
Rudolph

Thanks Rudolph
Do you know whether they sell the pads loose, and if so what the cost would be?

Re: Urgently Wanted: GQ front brake pads

Bel vanoggend Worcester Nissan - die parte sal more oggend hier wees.
