Thats correct, and the panel shops mark it up by 25% so they charge your insurance R5900!

If you think that's expensive how about R8500 for the plastic wheel arch moulding without any paint or labour costs added yet, I kid you not it's more expensive than the front bumper :thumbdown:

Nissan are overly expensive on spare parts

If you had to buy each part separately to make up a patrol it would probably cost you around R2 million rand just in parts before it's even assembled.

Not just nissan is expensive, few mobths back Toyota quoted me R700 for a cubby hole lock.... :surprised: (on a hilux).

Yes this is very bad, Nissan in my opinion is one of the two most expensive brands when it comes to spare parts......just after Jeep. Toyota isnt far behind either, but there is loads of second hand parts for Toyotas as well as pirate
