12V Inverter!

Guys,
My inverter packed up and I need one urgently. Ideally I would like to get a 2500w pure sine wave inverter(12V). It is for general use in my caravan and the only requirement is to power up the Wife's hair dryer....
and n lightweight micro wave oven! I am not too clued up and would like to know if a modified sine wave is good enough for this job? Any idea where I could get the best prices or even a second hand one in good working order will do
