Ek het pas een vir di ePRADO by Pieter van 4x4 Direct aangekoop - Woensdag betaal, Vrydag afgelewer -- het hom fynnnn bekyk en kanni die 'swak' punte in hom sien nie - Totaal BAIE beter kwaliteit as die een wat ek by 'n sg 'Bruce' gekoop het - die het gekraak - en sy kop verloor op Kaokoveldt se grondpaaie

I believe a snorkel has 3 jobs:
1. Cleaner Air (Less Dust).
2. If crossing water, less possibility of water getting into engine.
3. Looks cool.

Cool air when moving slowly like in the bush and driving thick sand at say 20kmh the intake is under your fender and hot air from ac and water rradiator sits there and gets sucked back in to airintake since fitting snorkel I haven't had the aircon switch of once when crawing at 40 deg in moz use to happen all the time.

Het nou met een van die tegniese ouens by Nissan gepraat ( Francois Erasmus ) hy is van mening dat die snorkel defnitief jou enjin se leeftyd verleng veral waar jy baie grondpad ry. Hul het op n stadium heelwat enjin probleme ingekry van Patrols wat in Botswana ry en sedert die voertuie snorkels op het, het enjin probleme verdwyn. So klink vir my ons ouens wat nie duikbote wil maak van ons lorries nie maar gereeld grondpad ry is dit n goeie belegging. Die vraag is ou net of mens R2500 of R6000 wil betaal. Ek gaan my lorrie nog seker so 3 - 4 ry so R2500 klink na die regte belegging vir my.

Safari or TJM,

Visit the Safari web page and see what the test results of the chinese product are. Also remeber it is not just the outside, but also the inner tubes that need to be secure and sealed.
