Langman maybe one of the guys who have hand-grenaded and changed to different engines? Gyus like Pieter du Toit, JG Shields (I dont think he has anything left though) or ALex Meyer who is now putting in a Lexus? Or the guy in Bloem who does the Lexus conversions?
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Thanks Peter

I think I may have come right ...an earlier post in the forum referred to a place in Cape Town, AIRFLOWMETERS, I cannot recall who posted this but it helped  . I contacted them and they stock a AFM 024 which is apparently the right MAF for the 3.0D Patrol. They have in stock and the cost is R1696 (VAT & Shipping) included. When you compare the R1696 to NISSAN's R7500 it is not a bad deal at all! :oldtimer:
NISSAN should be ashamed of their prices...not that they give a shit anyway!

Thanks for responding with some guidance...hopefully my next post will be to tell everyone the "granade" is live again.

P.S. Thanks again to the Patrol Forum... the info that we have on hand here is great and potentially saved me again from being ripped off by Nissan SA!

This is my biggest gripe with Patrols, all other makes L/Rover , Cruisers, Jeeps I see now as well have independant part importers. Here you can buy stuff (l/rover) , the genuine parts from Europe at a 1/4 of the price quote from the stealers, and I mean absolutely everything.

We need an importer in SA , catering specific for Nissan, like Patrols, Nevara's. I just spoken this week to an owner of a fantastic Nevara , about the clutch problems he have and how the stealers are absolutely mad with the clutch prices, and he say's he cannot find the clutch anywhere except from the stealers.

Subaru owners are worse off here , their problem, nothing available at all except from stealers.

Hey guys,

Is this what were looking for? http://www.euro4x4parts.com/parts/idb90 ... meter.html Always try us (mail, PM) And remember there's for most parts an additional 10% discount for forum members.
The only problem we have is the cost of delivery, but we're looking for a solution. Maybe somebody would like to be middleman for the members to save cost by ordering together. It might be worth it!

And don't forgot that our prices are not a secret. Expect for some special items that have to be ordered, the prices are there and not like in many shops only after having ask for them. The tell you that you have a special 40 % discount, easy to say if nobody knows the real price! NO special offers from us, we always try to have the best price.
